Professional Seminars

One of the three main goals of Testing and Technical Standards Development Program is improving information on Conformity assessment issues delivery to professionals and consumers, because even through regular educational activities it is possible to reduce occurence of dangerous products on the market.

The education is important for manufacturers, their agents and distributors, and also for consumers, most of whom are not able to identify safety parameters given in product information. They are not familiar with their rights when purchasing products, and they do  not know to whom they should address their questions and problems.

Realization of seminars in which employees of UNMS SR have their presentations, and except for them so do other authorized and notified bodies, representatives of Slovak Trade Inspection, representatives of Slovak Institution of Technical Standardization, and all of them provide consumers and manufacturers with the possibility of asking questions and clarifying practical problems.

UNMS SR, Testing and Technical Standards Department organize professional seminars aimed at conformity assessment of designated products via Testing and Technical Standards Development Program.

UNMS SR, Testing and Technical Standards Department also organize professional seminars for inspectors of Slovak Trade Inspection and State Administration Bodies via Testing and Technical Standards Development Program. Seminars are aimed at concrete information relating to conformity assessment of designated products, essential technical parameters of particular kinds of products specified in individual standards, and at related legislation.
